| 2010 . . . Earnings Disclaimer & Clarification
Anyone comparing the total 2009 players earning in our seeding list with the players earnings on the PGA Tour list will find some discrepancies. Although not large there are some discrepancies, and because of the numbers it is difficult or impossible to figure out why.
Our earnings list came from ESPN.com, and it’s earnings are the same as other media lists of the players earnings in 2009. For what ever reason the media lists are on occasion slightly different than the PGA tour list. Because we have in the past found some errors on the PGA Tour earnings lists it appears one is no more accurate than the other.
So for our event, for the sake of consistency, we are going to be using the earnings as posted on ESPN.com. These figures may not always be exactly the same as the PGA Tour list, but they are the numbers we are going to use, and in the long run they should not be enough to change any of the standings. Regardless we are going to live with the media figures as we find them on ESPN.com |
